The thing I discovered helped to speed up my progress, and I managed to go from ML-35 to ML-42 by the time I actually finished the whole thing, and it only took about an hour and around 1.5mil gold.Īs you may know, each normal item has a random chance of unlocking the next rarity (uncommon-rare-epic-legendary).

However, this comes at the cost of about 3x as much gold and a loss on the iron/leather/silk at a rate of 1 per unit made. Interesting to note: rare quality items give about the same boost to essence, but you get to pick two different ones, effectively doubling your returns with better exp gains.

Additional bonus, the gold cost is minimal doing the lowly items. For the uninitiated, you get back all the material you put in and extra of the essence of choice. It is pretty well known that the least resource intensive thing to do is craft lvl 14 uncommon items with whatever essence you most want (fire, shadow, or air). While doing so, I did a little bit of experimenting and thought I would share my discovery. There are too many other options.I finally decided to get down to the grindstone and get my ML up to 50. If you're a warlock/mage, this probably isn't worth a second look at all. This is mainly for the folks who are in guilds struggling with Kara, and in light of that probably also have a bit of trouble getting groups together to get Lower City rep for their Gavel. It's just a matter of time before you get better. If your guild is in good enough shape that no locks or mages need them, and you can down Prince/Doomwalker on a regular basis, then no, I wouldn't waste my time on getting this crafted. Specifically for elemental shaman, balance druids and shadow or smite priests who don't have all that many alternatives, and who most likely have to roll against each other as well as mages/locks for the upgrades that come as drops (in most cases, the Mindblade/Talon is also an upgrade for mages and locks, who will be rolling despite the fact that they're daggers).

Overall, this is a nice dagger if you don't raid, or have really bad luck with drops. Comment by ThottbotDon't forget Talon of the Tempest off of Doomwalker.
